Project Health Score

The Project Health Score is an automatic RAG (Red, Amber, Green) rating shown on the project dashboard. It gives you a quick, objective view of the project's overall delivery health.

How it is calculated

The health score is calculated automatically from your project's live data:

  • Risks — the number and severity of open risks.
  • Issues — the number and severity of open issues.
  • Tasks and Actions — overdue items, blocked items and completion rates.
  • Other RAID — dependencies, assumptions, changes and queries.

You do not set the health score manually — it updates automatically as your RAID and task data changes.

What drives it up or down

  • More open risks and issues — pushes the score towards Amber or Red.
  • Overdue tasks and actions — pushes the score towards Amber or Red.
  • Closing risks, resolving issues and completing tasks — pushes the score towards Green.

The health score gives leadership an at-a-glance view of which projects need attention. Use it alongside the RAG and escalation fields on individual RAID items for a complete picture.
