Change Requests
A Change Request records a proposed or actual change to the project. It is managed in the Changes area of a project.
Creating a change request
- Open a project → Changes.
- Select Add Change Request.
- Enter a title and description.
- Set the change origin — where the change was raised:
- Meeting
- Conversation
- Other
- Add source details — free text about where the change came from (for example, "Programme Board" or "Supplier Email").
- Set the overall impact on a 1–5 scale (1 = Very Low, 5 = Very High).
- Complete the tolerances if applicable — time, benefit, cost, scope, risk and quality.
- Set the RAG status (green, amber or red) to indicate the delivery concern level.
- Save.
Tracking and filtering
- Filter the Change Log by status, RAG status, impact or origin.
- The Impact column shows the overall impact rating for each change.
- Set a review date to track when the change request will be reviewed.
Status
A change request moves through these statuses:
- Pending — awaiting review.
- Approved — accepted and in progress.
- Rejected — declined.
- Escalated — raised to a higher authority.
Use the RAG status to flag delivery concern. The overall impact rating is for display and prioritisation — it does not feed the Project Health Score.
